Yeah, I'm Bad at This

I just read my sister's blog. She is really good at keeping it updated. My friend Olivia is even better at it. Me on the other hand , I flat out stink at it. I should at least try to blog at least once a month. We have had a lot going on this month, so I'll see if I can sum it up.

Let's see...Well, one big thing that happened this month is that I finally got my drivers license. Yes, I know, I am old. After years of anxiety and no money, at the age of 25, I can now legally drive a car by myself. Of course I am never by myself, but I can at least cart my kids around like a grown up.

Ethan got rid of the binky! It may not sound like a big deal, but it is! One day he was just done with it. He asks for it from time to time, but we just say "it's gone". It seems to work. I'm even more happy because he doesn't steal his sister's binky. As far as the potty training goes, well, that's not very successful yet. I don't think he's ready to take it seriously yet. But, I will keep trying. It's certainly not something I want to force.

Sydney is huge. She fits into 12 month clothes already. She's 7 months old now. Now she is sitting up without any support. She'll flip over onto her tummy and get really mad. She can't quite get out of the tummy position. She is beginning to scoot backwards, so that means crawling isn' t that far away. Ah, how time passes so quickly. Syd is eating very well. She loves baby food. Totally opposite of her brother. However, she only likes the sweet stuff. The only veggie she will tolerate is carrots.

Gene got a new job! That's awesome! With Holiday Oil buying out his Sinclair station, Gene thought he should get out before they took over. He applied to be a Lube Tech at Sapp Brothers. That basically means changing oil on semi trucks. Well, he went in for the interview and came out with a management position over the night crew. That's right people, my husband is the man! We are really excited about this opportunity.

And now for the big, most important news! We're getting sealed in the Draper Temple this weekend! The Stewart family is now going to be an ETERNAL FAMILY!!! We are looking forward to this very much and can't wait to share this experience with family and friends.

Thanks for reading!
Laundry basket rides around the house. I learned that I'm super out of shape. Pulling these two around isn't an easy task!
Family trip to Lowes. Aren't they just adorable?
