I bet nobody wanted to see us this close up! This was taken on Gene's birthday. Usually when we take pictures like this we both look totally stupid. One of us will look good and the other will have a huge cheek or forehead. Then we'll try again and it will be just the opposite. I thought this one turned out ok. This will only be the second picture in our history that we've taken like this that actually looks normal!
Of course, now that I look at it more closely, I still think it looks kinda weird. Oh well.

I think it is cute :) The picture we have on our blog is the same way. We took it by just holding the camera out. It is the only time we have tried this, and we were surprised that it turned out so well!
